Atari 5200

Dual Diagnostic Cartridge

Custom Made

This cartridge features usable versions of the tools required to service both the 2-Port and the 4-Port models, and comes with a fancy gold label! This is a limited edition offering that can disappear at any time, as we have a shrinking number of brand new shells. Since we still do not have a tree in the backyard that grows cartridge shells or someone produces new ones for sale, we will no doubt run out soon ...

PLEASE NOTE:

The cart does not have the usual dust-cover door mechanism installed, which makes it easier to use while servicing the system, while it is outside its case!

HISTORY:

Diagnostic carts were also known as SALT carts (Stand ALone Tests) and used in AtariService centers all around the country. Both versions below are included on this cart, and switchable with a physical switch on the back of the cart (see pic).
